Very interesting. It seems mobile keeps trying to go the biometric route and failing (Samsung Galaxy S5 being the most recent) in terms of security. Hope this works out well.
I think these attacks need some rebranding. I'm so sick of the word "Op" at this point.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Neither side has really budged in the past, but hopefully we can get some consensus now that it's such a big issue.
I wonder two things about all this talk of a national law. One, will it ever happen? It's hard to have faith congress will do what the nation wants given recent events. Two, if they do pass something, will it have any teeth, will it make things better, or will it be some watered-down thing without much real value, or too much red tape.
I think the concept of biometrics is cool, but the way it's being used just doesn't seem safe. I hope one of these companies finds something that works!
